Florals For More Than Just Flowers

Spring has sprung, and the weddings have only just begun!

We’re seeing flowers in bloom all over. Love is in the air. And we’re loving bright florals this year.

Because who ever said flowers should only be in your bouquets and boutonnieres?

If you’re looking to incorporate florals into your wedding day, we have a few ideas…

Bridesmaids & Groomsmen

First, the obvious choice: have your bridesmaids wear floral patterned bridesmaids dresses!

Think light, dusty blue dresses with floral patterns, or even sunny yellows with flowers throughout.

You can even have your bridesmaids each in a different color or floral pattern.

Or you can add in multiple colors to their bouquets for an extra splash for color….or leave all eyes on their dresses with plain white flowers. (Then you can add a pop of color to your bouquet for a complimentary look!)

The effect will be whimsical and bright, sure to make your wedding day pop.

But don’t forget the groomsmen…

Colorful flowers aren’t only for the bridesmaids!

Select bright flowers like ranunculus, hyacinths, orchids, hydrangeas, or peonies.

Maybe each groomsman has a different color. Maybe their boutonnieres have more than one flower.

It’s your wedding day! Make it as bright and as beautiful as your love is.

Other Touches

You don’t have to limit florals to bouquets or your bridal party!

Think about adding floral designs to your save the dates, invitations, or thank you notes.

Work with your florist to create an arch full of bright blooms, or create a bountiful aisle of florals to walk down.

Maybe you create a garden of florals around the dance floor.

Bored by white tablecloths? Change it up! Choose floral patterned linens or fill your tables with loose florals.

Hosting a seated dinner at your rehearsal dinner or reception? Use floral napkins!

Thinking about wedding favors? Hand out custom seed packets that will bloom into bright colors. Or even give away small potted flowers that will remind your guests of your wedding day for weeks to come.

You can even hand out individual flower stems to your guests as they enter the ceremony or reflection. If you hand out bobby pins or safety pins, guests can add the flowers to their hair or lapels!

For a more interactive idea, you can instruct guests to place their flowers in an empty vase on their table before sitting, creating a unique centerpiece at each table and giving your guests something to talk about!

The opportunities are endless and result in a romantic, bright, and beautiful feel to your wedding. Florals will energize the space, providing a stylish feel.

And when you’re finished, you can donate your flowers to local hospitals or homes, so your blooms can live on, bringing joy to even more people.
